As a touring musician, I spent my nights on stage in front of thousands of people. I always struggled with oily skin, breakouts, and blemishes, and there was nothing worse than walking on stage knowing there was something on my face I couldn’t hide. It was something that affected my confidence for most of my life.
As a kid, I tried everything from salicylic acid to benzoyl peroxide, but the products were often harsh, drying, and unpleasant to use. As I got older, I found a new problem: the skincare world didn’t feel like it was made for me. Walking into Sephora or a department store, surrounded by makeup and overpowering fragrances, I always felt like I didn’t belong there.
So I made it my mission to create the brand I had always wanted: a premium skincare regimen with clean, effective formulas, thoughtful design, and a modern fragrance experience.
After two years of formulation, testing, and refinement, Oak Bishop was born.
